What We Do
LoCo Lab builds cutting-edge tech solutions that enhance efficiency, regulatory compliance, and accountability across supply chains to foster more equitable communities. Founded in 2022, we leverage blockchain—the gold standard for secure, transparent digital recordkeeping and financial transactions—as the foundation of our technology. Our team of world-class developers and thought leaders create industry-leading applications that promote secure data transmission and accessible business processes on both local and global scales. We are currently developing supply chain systems that empower local content creators and underserved farmers with ownership in the supply chain. One of our key solutions, Smart-Verify, provides a verifiable, immutable online record for tracking and validating data while offering a user-friendly interface that supports timely, automated payments across industries.

Megan Matousek
Megan Matousek is the Founder and CEO of LoCo Lab. She is also the Founder and CEO of LoCo+, a localized streaming platform for independent content creators. During her 15-years working in the film and entertainment industries, a common thread of innovation and development emerged. While working for LAIKA Animation on the film Coraline, Matousek participated in creating the first animated stop motion film shot in stereoscopic 3D. She made the move to Lucasfilm, Ltd., where she managed Star Wars franchise and brand marketing activities. She rose through the ranks quickly and was promoted to produce 2nd unit visual effects for Star Wars films, working for Industrial Light & Magic where the motto, “Creating the Impossible” is a daily reality. Leveraging her knowledge and experiences of innovation, financial models, and supply-chain systems, Matousek founded LoCo Lab as the technical solution for better transparency, financial benefits, and pathways to sustainable success.

Dan Steiner
The Chief Sales Officer of LoCo Lab, Dan is a seasoned leader whose career spans for-profit, non-profit, and higher education sectors, giving him the ability to build trust and drive growth across very different rooms. With over 20 years of experience leading teams through change, Steiner is at his best in the space between an idea and its execution. He knows how to find the right people, build the right structure, and keep things moving until what started as a conversation is working in the world. As a leadership coach and mentor, he's worked with hundreds of emerging leaders and executives through the 5280 Fellows program and at the graduate level, where he taught, built mentoring curricula, and secured a Templeton Foundation grant to expand programming. Underneath all of it is a pretty simple belief: companies grow when the people inside and around them feel seen, are treated fairly, and given room to do work they're proud of. He's also a published author, a speaker, and a photographer.
